Welcome to First Coast Steel Shooters, our Steel Challenge matches are held on the Fourth Sunday of the month. We shoot ALL 8 stages and report scores to SCSA.

Come on out and try the sport that has been called, "The Drag Racing of Handguns".

The rules are simple, hit the targets as fast as you can.

Never shot a match before? No problem. We have experienced shooters to guide you thru your first match. Any safe handgun, .22 rifle (no magnum ammo) or Pistol Caliber Carbine (9mm,40 S&W, etc) with appropriate magazines (minimum of 3 recommended). Bring 250 rounds of ammo to play it safe. Spectators are ALWAYS welcome. EYE and EAR protection are Mandatory for anyone on the range. Online registration form in is the "NEWS" section.

Setup begins at 8 am. Registration is online @ Practiscore, search First Coast Steel. Sign in on match day begins at 8:15 and closes at 8:45 SHARP. Mandatory shooters meeting at 8:55, Shooting starts at 9am.  Members $15, guests $20. Second guns $10. Signing up and paying at  the match will incur a $5 late fee. Scores can be found, usually by 8pm on the Steel Challenge website under "Results". And on Practiscore under First Coast Steel Shooters, or Volusia County Gun Club.

Manny Bragg is running two matches  weekly on Wed. and Thur. @ VCGC.
Wed. is action steel, Thursday is USPSA. These matches are designed for the beginner, but are challenging enough for the seasoned shooters.
